Our Quest is for the Presence of God — A Quote by Francis Frangipane in “The Days of His Presence”

“Our noble quest is to awaken from the sleep of our cultural traditions; it is to seek and find the living presence of God… Our hope is not based on speculation or unreasonable expectations. It comes to us directly from the Word of God:”

“‘Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit’ (2 Cor. 3:17-18).”

“This is the glorious hope of our calling: we each gaze upon Christ with an ‘unveiled face.'”

  1. Oh yes. The awakening does not come until the ACT. God awakens my heart conscience as I ACT. I ACT when I seek first the kingdom of God. . Where? In the Word of God–the infallible word of God as is written through holy providence in the Holy Bible. No other book, even the books written by man can change a human being into walking in newness of life. I too am a writer and yet even my first book that will soon be published for women cannot change another woman. The only word that can change us into born again mature believers is the word of the living God. If my books do not lead a woman to the LIGHTHOUSE, then I am just writing for naught.

I am here to witness as God’s Holy Spirit bears witness to my holy spirit that the Christian community of church attendees will not find the awakening in the world. The call of God is to ACT. To ACT is to pray, spend time with God, talk with God personally and openly and honestly and vulnerably, confess sins and repent without shame even though there will be godly sorrow. I cannot change myself. I cannot make myself holy. I have tried. I have given it my best shot and have failed miserably. To ACT is to wake up with God and ask His will to be done daily and to give us His daily bread (word and Spirit helping us) to do the will of the Father. To ACT is to get to the place of personal desolation until one gets IT. IT? Yes that I am not God and that He is the I AM. somewhere in the midst of the ACT day by day, God changes me to be unaware of my self. I am not there yet! I still get aware of me, especially when I am acting out of self will instead of seeking God and then waiting to ACT out of His will. Bottom line: HE TRANSFORMS ME. I HAVE LIBERTY AS HE TRANSFORMS ME. THERE IS NO FORMULA FOR THIS TRANSFORMATION; THERE IS ONLY ACTING AND THEN TRUSTING GOD TO DO THE HOLY WORK IN ME THAT ONLY HE CAN DO AS I COOPERATE.
