Their name came from John’s Gospel that says, ‘While you have the light, believe in the light, so that you may become [children] of light.’ They wanted to be known as women and men whose faith grew from a direct spiritual encounter with the living Light of Christ. They believed this Light was present in every spiritual seeker as an inward guide and teacher. So they invited others to experience the Light.”
